Milbat: Assistive Technology
Milbat is an incredible assistive technology non-profit organization outside of Tel Aviv. They have 15-20 paid employees (physical/occupational therapists mostly) and between 300 and 400 volunteers that custom make devices for individuals with disabilities.
While I was touring this awesome facility hosted at the Tel Shomer hospital, I was lucky enough to get an insiders view of just what goes on there, since my guide (a fantastic AT professor from Tel Aviv University) used to work there. For the moment, I am going to post the pictures in groups of about 10, but they will remain uncaptioned for the moment. As I have time, I will go back and give explanations for each.
